PSYCHOTHERAPY 1 ON 1 SESSIONS

It is very important to find a therapist that is a good fit for you, and with whom you feel comfortable enough to explore your struggles and talk about private thoughts and emotions. This first session is a perfect way for you to ask any questions you may have and to get to know your therapist better to decide if this form of therapy is the best fit for you.
First Session - 1.5hrs
Before the session begins, I will hand you some forms on confidentiality, your privacy rights, an Energy Psychology agreement form, and my contact information. It is important that you understand and sign these forms before we begin therapy. If you have any questions or concerns, we can discuss these before the session starts.
During you first visit, you will be asked many important questions on topics such as the nature and severity of your struggles, what coping mechanisms and strategies you use, and family history questions that will give us both more insight into your "Life Style". These questions help both of us to come up with a personalized treatment plan that suits your needs.
Therapy Session - 60 minutes
Appointments typically last 60 minutes and can take place weekly, biweekly, tri-weekly, or on a monthly basis. How frequent the appointments take place depends on your needs, the treatment plan, and the therapists’ availability.
During our therapy sessions, I use a combination of Individual Psychology, Energy Psychology & Mindfulness Techniques. This involves an active participation on both sides and may include homework assignments. Techniques may be suggested for you to use at home so that you will be able to develop your own "toolbox" of strategies to use in a variety of situations.
Talking about your emotions, feelings, memories and struggles is a tough experience. And you may find yourself feeling upset after our first sessions as we explore your childhood, coping strategies and the reasons for you to seek therapy. Keep in mind that this is a necessary evil, and things will get better if you work at them. I will be there throughout the process, to guide you and to offer you comfort. Together we will explore these deeper feelings and work towards a healing process.
